Playstation network strains under restart

Playstation network unable to cope with volume of users.
Having recently just restored its service for online gamers, Sony has had to again briefly take their services offline due to the sheer number of users logging on. Playstation users have been asked to reset their passwords and will receive a confirmation email with their new credentials. Users have reported a lengthy delay for confirmations to be received. Sony has also promised that its “new and additional security measures” will provide users with better protection for the future and are offering a “welcome back” package of “premium content”, including a free game.
